Our Story
The Hillsboro Concert Series started in 2011 as part of the Hillsboro 2000 & Beyond committee. Modeled after the Sunset Concert Series in Carbondale, IL, the goal was to bring quality entertainment for free to the public. The first concerts took place downtown Hillsboro at the Lincoln Stage.
In 2012 the concerts were moved to the old bluegrass stage at the campgrounds. The stage was brought back to life and new lighting was installed. In 2015 the concert series officially became a part of the Parks & Rec group of Imagine HIllsboro.
The Hillsboro Concert Series took over for the 4th of July festivities for the city in 2015. More concerts started moving to 4th of July Point in the coming years
2018 would be the year that the Hillsboro Concert Series began it's partnership with Old Settlers, helping to bring entertainment to the historic summer event
In 2021 the concert series put on it's first ever all day music festival.

Now in 2022, the series has come full circle bringing all of it's concerts back to a thriving downtown Hillsboro
